Review tour: Hidden Treasures (Pinx Video Mystery #2) by Marshal Thornton

Length: 59,000 words approx.

Blurb

It’s about a dress. A valuable blue sequined dress worn by a famed actress in a film from the 1940s. For some reason everyone thinks video store owner Noah Valentine has it. Which might not be a big deal except that it’s connected to the murder of a prominent Hollywood costumer.

In the second of the Pinx Video Mysteries, Noah attempts to solve the mystery of the dress. To do so, he must confront a legendary film icon Wilma Wanderly, hunky police Detective Javier O’Shea, the dowager Queen of Watts and a couple of bitter ex-friends.

What a great addition to the Pinx Video Mystery series featuring the same cast of characters as in Hidden Treasure's predecessor, Night Drop.

Hidden Treasures is another superbly-crafted mystery from Marshall Thornton that will give Agatha Christie a run for her money.

Once again Noah and the gang are drawn into a mystery, this time one that lands on his downstairs neighbor's very doorstep.

As with Night Drop, Hidden Treasures has more twists and turns than an order of curly fries, this time a super-sized order.

I love Noah's interactions with his gang of friends and employees, especially the surprising (or not) interactions with 'Tall, Dark and Dangerous' Detective O'Shea.

I give Hidden Treasures a 5 out of 5 stars and look forward to reading more about Noah and the gang.

Remember, it's all about the dress...
