A RECIPE FOR ROMANCE
One snobby food critic who doesn’t believe in love
One down-to-earth food blogger who does
Add a touch of suspicious brother
A heaping serving of best friend who’s been waiting for this to happen
Blend with secret identities, past hurts, and judgments.
Stir in equal portions of desperate longing, desire, fear, and snarky humor.
Set over open flame, step back, and wait for sparks to fly.
Serve as is for an explosive love story that will leave you with a full heart and a ridiculously happy smile at the end.

Felice Stevens has always been a romantic at heart. She believes that while life is tough, there is always a happy ending just around the corner. Her characters have to work for it, however. Like life in NYC, nothing comes easy, and that includes love.
She lives in New York City and has way too much black in her wardrobe yet can't stop buying "just one more pair" of black pants. Felice is a happily addicted Bravo and Say Yes to the Dress addict and proud of it. And let's not get started on House Hunters. Her dream day starts out with iced coffee and ends with Prosecco, because...why shouldn't it? You can find her procrastinating on FB in her reader group, Felice's Breakfast Club.

HOSTED BY:

Never Say Never is a different approach to the enemies-to-lovers trope.

All of the enemies-to-lovers novels I've read, the two main characters know each other personally. In Never Say Never, they are internet enemies who eventually meet each other in a way I didn't see coming.

Ms. Stevens did a great job with that part of the story. Well, she did a great job with the entire story, but that particular part is what stuck with me the most.

The way Ms. Stevens portrays Frisco as dark and damaged on the inside is an understatement to say the least. When I read about why he's damaged my reaction was "Holy (expletive deleted)".

With Torre, I think his biggest asset is his integrity and ability to care. We see evidence of his ability to care throughout the story. As far as his integrity goes we see glimpses of it throughout the story, but it really becomes evident towards the end which I feel is a major turning point.

The biggest turning point in the story is the scene where Frisco jumps in to help Mike when the restaurant becomes a major hot spot. What am I talking about? You'll just have to read Nevern Say Never to find out.

I can actually sum everything up in six simple words.

Buy it. Read it. Love it.

Believe me when I say you won't be disappointed.

Definitely 5 out of 5 stars

Blurb

Sometimes it takes a child to remind us that love and family are rarely perfect but an accepting heart can smooth out the imperfections.

Mike Kneller-Mettler’s life has certainly been on the fast track upward since he met his husband, Bryn. Now married for nearly a year to the starting goalie for the Pittsburgh Ravens, Mike’s found himself propelled into a new home, a new career, and a new role as loving spouse. As his baby sister’s wedding approaches, Mike is going to be faced with a couple of monumental decisions that will affect not only his future, but the everyone he holds close to his heart.

Bryn Mettler and his team haven’t had the best ending to their season. Nursing a recurring groin injury, Bryn isn’t quite sure he’s ready for wedding chaos. But, the nuptials are going to go off whether he’s able to dance with the bride or not. Amid the usual insanity that every wedding brings, unexpected guests show up to throw the beautifully planned affair into turmoil. As the adults slip into childish behavior, it might be up to Liam to be the voice of reason.

V.L. Locey loves worn jeans, yoga, belly laughs, walking, reading and writing lusty tales, Greek mythology, Torchwood and Dr. Who, the New York Rangers, comic books, and coffee. (Not necessarily in that order.) She shares her life with her husband, her daughter, one dog, two cats, a pair of geese, far too many chickens, and two steers.

When not writing spicy romances, she enjoys spending her day with her menagerie in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania with a cup of fresh java in one hand and a steamy romance novel in the other.
