Cayuga Cougars Series
Blurb
The happy times are about to turn rough, though. The Cougars have picked up a new player, Sander March, a brash young center whose sass, skill, and attitude can rival Victor’s. When it’s revealed that this new player and Dan have history, tensions begin to rise between the newlyweds. As Victor and Dan work on those issues, the one person Victor never thought he would meet arrives in the small New York hamlet and proceeds to flip everything in Vic’s life upside down.
Can Victor and Dan’s marriage withstand what life is about to drop on it, or will the challenges be too much for them to handle?

Author Bio
V.L. Locey loves worn jeans, yoga, belly laughs, walking, reading and writing lusty tales, Greek mythology, the New York Rangers, comic books, and coffee. (Not necessarily in that order.) She shares her life with her husband, her daughter, one dog, two cats, a flock of assorted domestic fowl, and two Jersey steers.
When not writing spicy romances, she enjoys spending her day with her menagerie in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania with a cup of fresh java in hand. She can also be found online on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and GoodReads.

What an incredible story! This series just keeps getting better and better.
One of the things I like about the Cayuga Cougars series is the continuity between the novels and that all the characters are strong and supportive of each other (of the most part). There's also the fact that the series is one complete story arc, like a 4-part (Cayuga Cougars #4 will be out later this year) mini-series.
The only downside to that is you need to read all the novels in sequence, starting with Slap Shot (#1) then Open Net (#2) and finally Coach's Challenge (#3) in order to have a complete understanding of the series.
You can read them in any order or not read some of them to understand what's going on, but I highly recommend you do. You'll have a much richer reading experience.
Coach's Challenge gives us a wonderful mix of strong characters (both main and supporting), love, support, surprise, tension and angst, and yes, plenty of sex scenes, although they're not the focus of the story
I also love the fact that Vic and Dan are real people with real hopes, dreams, aspirations and problems just like everyone else.
Coach's Challenge also shows on thing, and it's major. Two gay men can raise a child in a loving and nurturing environment, even a 2-year-old who has the same answer to everything.
5 out of 5 stars and looking very much forward to Cayuga Cougars #4.
