Imagine experiencing the kind of love that stays with your soul for all of eternity, continuously defeating all odds... including death.

Liam
My whole life, I've been a dreamer. I dream of places I've never been, people I've never met, situations I've never been in, but I never understood why... until met him.

Elijah
Being forced to move from the city to a small town is not how I wanted to spend my last year of high school. I don't want to be here, and I swore to myself I wouldn't get attached to anyone or anything... but then I met him.

Merriam-Webster defines dèjá vu as "a feeling that one has seen or heard something before".

I can sum up Dèjá Vu in one word... astonishing. When I agreed to review Deja Vu I was unprepared for such an emotionally intense experience.

Dèjá Vu is a refreshing change from the straight-to-gay/shifter/vampire stories that seem to be the new normal in the MM romance genre.

I really like the way Liam's dream sequences are interwoven into the story. That to me is what makes the story very unique, not just the incredible characters and the fascinating story line.

Dèjá Vu is an absolute MUST READ story that more than deserves a spot on everybody's eBook reader.

5 out of 5 stars and I will most definitely be reading it again.

My review of Salvation by Garrett Leigh

Darkest Skies Series

Book #2 Deliverance - Buy Links

Reformed gang boss Dante Pope is out after a four-year stretch in prison. But freedom has found him faster than he’s ready for. His only brother hates him, and with nothing but PTSD and a newfound fascination with plants for company, the outside world is a terrifying place.

A prisoner rehabilitation scheme lands him at a stately home that might as well be the moon. Working for gorgeous gardener Sid is a welcome distraction—his shoulders are broad, his rugged jaw unshaven, and his long, tanned legs?

Wow.

But Sid has problems of his own. A life-changing disease has left him limited in ways he can’t bear and accepting help, even from a stranger, makes him want to curl up and die.

If Dante would let him.

Newsflash: he won’t, and he’s not a stranger for long. With his dark smile and sinister ink, Dante Pope is the most beautiful man Sid has ever seen. Life is hard, but falling for each other is easy.

Sunshine and shadows.

Old ghosts can haunt Dante all they like. Loving Sid is the only salvation he’ll ever need.

Salvation is a sweetly angsty standalone MM romance novel in the Darkest Skies series. Expect: second chances, forced proximity, friends-to-lovers, and buckets of hurt/comfort themed loveliness. Content warnings for childhood trauma, violence, and chronic illness.

Who said a leopard can't change his spots? It certainly wasn't Dante Pope.

I can't really go into it any further without giving spoilers.

Trust me when I say that without the love and support of Sid, things might have turned out differently for Dante, especially when the past shows up on his doorstep.

The story moved along at a steady pace with believable plot and characters.

The only thing I didn't care for was the use of a lot of British terms which I had to stop and look up.

For that reason and that reason alone I rate Salvation 4.75 stars instead of 5.

That being said, I highly recommend this book.

Blurb

Will broken hearts replace the wedding they dreamed of?

Ryker's heart has space for three things—his family, hockey, and Jacob. As their wedding grows closer, it seems that nothing can stand in the way of an idyllic celebration, surrounded by friends and loved ones. But things appear to be changing; Jacob is forging a future that might take him away from Ryker, and Ryker alternates between pride and fear when a new man comes into his fiancé's life. A hockey season from hell has him doubting his life choices, but worse, he's driving Jacob into another man's arms. How has their perfect life suddenly gone so wrong?

Life has certainly thrown many twists and turns in Jacob's path. Most of the goals he’d set for himself as a teenager had to change, but one has remained constant: finding his heart's desire and marrying him. That aspiration was reached when Ryker said, "I do". Planning their wedding was meant to be the best time of their lives, but Jacob unwittingly puts his trust in the wrong man and finds himself in danger. Is their love strong enough to survive the fallout?

USA Today bestselling author RJ Scott has written over one hundred romance books. Emotional stories of complicated characters, cowboys, single dads, hockey players, millionaires, princes, bodyguards, Navy SEALs, soldiers, doctors, paramedics, firefighters, cops, and the men who get mixed up in their lives, always with a happy ever after.

She lives just outside London and spends every waking minute she isn’t with family either reading or writing. The last time she had a week’s break from writing, she didn’t like it one little bit, and she has yet to meet a box of chocolates she couldn’t defeat.

USA Today Bestselling Author V.L. Locey – Penning LGBT hockey romance that skates into sinful pleasures.

V.L. Locey loves worn jeans, yoga, belly laughs, walking, reading and writing lusty tales, Greek mythology, Torchwood and Dr. Who, the New York Rangers, comic books, and coffee. (Not necessarily in that order.) She shares her life with her husband, her daughter, one dog, two cats, a pair of geese, far too many chickens, and two steers.

When not writing spicy romances, she enjoys spending her day with her menagerie in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania with a cup of fresh java in one hand and a steamy romance novel in the othe A sweet story brilliantly written as one would expect from the talented team of RJ Scott and V.L. Locey.

Ryker and Jacob are complex individuals, very easy to relate to. Their story is very realistic, including the post twist. What's a romance story without a little angst?

However, the authors include characters from previous Owatonna novels with little explanation as to who they are and what their relationship is to Ryker and Ten. I recommend that the other books in the series be read first, in this order:

I give Valentine's Hearts a 4.75 out of 5 stars and highly recommend it.

Nice job, ladies!
