When I was first approached about reviewing Alpha Barman, I thought 'not another shifter story.' I was pleasantly surprised to find out it wasn't, so when I was approached about reviewing Alpha Chef I jumped at the chance. I'm so glad I did.

Alpha Chef takes place in J.T.'s bar and features the same cast of very likable characters as Alpha Barman, and introduces new characters which are equally likable.

If you haven't read Alpha Barman, you will probably not know who some of the characters are and how they normally interact, but as you read on you'll learn who they are.

The well-written story has more twists and turns than a bag of curly fries. I more than once found myself asking 'what the hell is going on here?' I love these moments. It keeps you invested in the story.

It is not necessary to read Alpha Barman, but it will provide a richer reading experience.

I give Alpha Chef a 5 out of 5 stars and would love to see the 2 J.T.'s bar novels turned into a TV mini-series.
